Psychiatric Evaluations

A psychiatric evaluation is simply a diagnostic tool used by psychiatric providers. It may be used to diagnose problems with memory, thought processes, and behaviors. A psychiatric provider obtains the necessary information by asking specific questions which may be answered orally or in writing.

Medication Management

Medication management involves the initial evaluation of the patient's need for psychotropic medications, the provision of a prescription, and ongoing medical monitoring related to the patient's use of the psychotropic medication by a prescriber.

Genetic Tests

Johnson Behavioral Health Group provides Tempus genetic tests for our patients’ specific, personalized gene reports. The report contains information about how you may metabolize certain medications and how you may experience certain side effects from these medications. Our provider can use the results of the Tempus genetic test to help select the best treatment plan for you.

informations

The information provided here is intended to help our patients better understand how they may be reimbursed for services provided by Johnson Behavioral Health Group.

We recommend our patients to contact their insurance company to confirm their level of coverage with an out-of-network provider in advance of their visit to our office.

Office Visits

Payments are made with credit card and debit card.

We understand that navigating the insurance coverage process may be stressful; therefore, at Johnson Behavioral Health Group, we attempt to make the process as smooth as possible for our patients.

At all of our sites, JBHG accepts a wide range of insurances. Please see the list of accepted insurance companies to see if your plan is approved for treatments across our health system.

If your insurance company is accepted by JBHG:

Please contact your insurance provider to confirm what services are covered under your plan and learn about copayments, deductibles, and coinsurance amounts.

If your insurance company is not accepted by JBHG:

If you choose to get care at Johnson Behavioral Health Group, please contact your insurance carrier for further information on your financial responsibilities.

Many insurance plans impose caps on the amount that a patient may be reimbursed for an office visit.

See below for the CPT codes and fees from the superbill that will be received from our office upon completion of the appointment.

Lab Work

JBHG does not Bill Insurance for Lab Work.

In some cases, depending on the insurance carrier and the amount of the prompt pay discount, our office will recommend the prompt pay option to lock in a lower price.
